About

This is a collection of posts which aims at reproducing plots and data from papers. It comes as a natural by-product of reading scientific literature and the occasional attempt to reproduce some of the published results. The choice of papers is purely personal; often guided by a great appreciation of the work. All code is written in MATLAB and made accessible for further experimentation. Always, the clarity of code in conjunction with the corresponding paper is preferred over code structure and efficiency. Only built-in functions are used to make the code as self-contained as possible.

In this sense, these blog posts are my best effort to reproduce the ideas stated. However, it may be unavoidable to encounter obstacles from time to time. In many cases, I am not an expert of the domain in question and may misread/misunderstand some of the content. Where possible, I put additional comments to fill gaps or raise questions. Nonetheless, I hope that these posts might be an enjoyable and helpful supplementary read.
